Decaffeinated 100% Kona Coffee Is Back! Bay View Farm is pleased to offer a superior decaffeinated coffee using the more expensive carbon dioxide (CO2) method of decaffeination. This less common method of decaffeination is done by putting the coffee into water along with liquid carbon dioxide and subjecting the mix to high pressure and temperature. Afterward when the water and carbon dioxide are drained off, the caffeine washes off too-leaving a decaffeinated coffee. This process is chemical free and preserves the natural coffee flavors better resulting in superior taste.
